What started off as a TF-centric entire season plan for Willunga Hill has, as of day 59, been completely derailed by some significant bad luck, the season seemingly cursed with injuries, crashes, off days and mechanicals. The Hill was looking to push for a top 10 season, with top forms lined up to cover almost the entire hilly sprint/sprint season races, along with a number of climbing TFs. Unfortunately, it hasn't played out nearly so well.
Today Byron Seuseu was injured in the first race of his TF and will now miss his entire TF sequence. Unfortunately, this was the 3rd TF injury and the 6th injury in total for the team this season. While we still have a number of TF goals remaining - Helsinki (Edwards, Hika -- Seuseu was meant to be support also!), Germany Tour (Tuimavave), WC TT (Sa'u), it is fair to say management's season plans are now in disarray and a re-evaluation of the season goals is necessary as a season top 10 at this stage seems a very distant pipe dream. It is possible that we will find ourselves in the Nederlandse tour, desperately trying to salvage the end of our season. Perhaps Paul Sa'u can double up on his TF with a Nederlandse run on top of his WC TT tilt...

The script gods have blessed you this season. More sacrifices, more blessing.
Now, it sucks badly TF injuries, but hopefully better times will come. Smile, run, eat.
Hopefully you can turn it around!
Yeah :-( Still I feel in the next few seasons I'm going to have to scale back on points goals and try to get Rokocoko to win a few jerseys so it was still a good thing to see, confirmed his tour competitiveness
That's true, but no points for YC's
Thanks Frank. I'm very thankful the carnage didn't impact the Vuelta/Essex YC double attempt, so there's still been good bits to keep me smiling.
So much bad luck... You don't deserve that.
